Mission

Sustainable fashion should be accessible, not exclusive. That's why we're on a mission to create affordable, everyday statement pieces with sustainability in mind. we're able to reduce our environmental impact in the fashion industry all while working to create a more eco-friendly brand.

Responsible Supply Chain

The responsible supply chain is at the heart of our business. We require our factories to be registered with industry-leading standards such as SMETA and SEDEX. This ensures their working conditions meet our high standards. By sourcing ethically, we are able to provide our customers with products that have been made in a safe and fair environment.

Smart Fashion

At Missord, we operate on a ”smart fashion“ model, where we only produce what our customers want. We adjust production in real-time based on customer feedback and data, producing less waste than traditional retail fashion brands. This allows us to deliver products to our customers more quickly and with less waste.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

All the new products produced are packed with our d₂w biodegradable bags. The d₂w technology transforms regular plastic into a biodegradable material via a process in which it undergoes a change in molecular structure when exposed to oxygen. The end result is a substance that can be broken down by bacteria and fungi in the natural environment much more quickly than traditional plastic biodegradable bags.

Our Clean Water Process

We utilize membrane technology for wastewater treatment, as opposed to conventional methods which are not as effective and can result in the release of secondary pollutants. Membrane technology, such as microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis, is more efficient and effective in treating wastewater compared to conventional processes that require more chemicals and energy and generate waste.

Recycled Fabric

The pieces in our Recycled Fabric Collection are made of recycled materials certified by Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Recycled materials require fewer resources to produce than non-recycled materials, minimizing their carbon footprint and improving sustainability.
